Trades & Construction Pro: a dynamic QR for projects and quote enquiries

Present services, before/after projects, credentials, reviews and availability, then receive quote enquiries directly from your QR.

20 August 2026

The Trades & Construction Pro showcase turns a QR code into a professional mobile profile designed to present your business, build trust with real project examples and receive quote enquiries from a smartphone.

The QR can be placed on a vehicle, site board, business card, quotation, flyer or shopfront. As long as you keep the same QR, you can update the showcase without reprinting media already distributed.

Suggestion: work van, site board, business card and quotation carrying the same QR, next to a smartphone showing the Trades & Construction Pro showcase. Recommended format: 1200 × 630 px.

Present your business and expertise immediately

The first part of the showcase establishes your professional identity: business name, trade or speciality, tagline, introduction, logo and cover image.

You can also display your service area, years of experience, current availability and typical response time. For a prospect discovering your company after seeing a vehicle or site board, this provides useful context before they contact you.

Explain your services without overcrowding printed media

The showcase can present up to 12 services, each with a name and description. This makes it possible to separate renovation, plumbing, electrical work, painting, roofing, carpentry, masonry, bathrooms or any other activity relevant to your business.

Each service can be enabled or hidden independently. A flyer or business card can remain simple while the QR opens a more complete mobile presentation.

Show before / after projects

For many construction trades, a visual result says more than a long description. The Before / after projects section can present up to 12 projects.

Each project can include a title, category, location, description, year, before image and after image. For example, you can show a kitchen renovation, restored facade, bathroom transformation or landscaping project.

Projects can be enabled or hidden individually, so you can refresh your selection over time without changing the printed QR.

Suggestion: a clear comparison of the same project before and after, with trade category, town and year underneath.

Highlight qualifications, guarantees and commitments

Trust matters when a client is choosing a contractor. The showcase can display up to 12 qualifications, guarantees or commitments, each with a label and detail.

Depending on what genuinely applies to your business, you can present professional qualifications, insurance or guarantees, commitments to clear quotations or other verifiable working practices. Only publish claims you can support.

Present customer reviews

The Customer Reviews section can contain up to 8 reviews with a displayed name, comment and rating from 1 to 5. These testimonials complement project photos and help a prospect understand the quality of your work and service.

The review section can also be disabled entirely when you do not want to display it.

Show your current availability

The showcase supports three states: Available for new projects, Limited availability or Currently fully booked.

You can add an availability note and typical response time so a prospect knows whether you are accepting new work.

Make contact easy by phone, email, WhatsApp or website

The Contact section can offer phone, email, WhatsApp and website actions independently. You choose which channels are public according to how you work.

Clicks on phone, email, WhatsApp and website can also contribute to the showcase interaction statistics, helping you understand what visitors do after scanning.

Receive a quote enquiry directly from the QR

The showcase can include a quote enquiry form. You define the offered project types and indicative budget ranges so prospects can describe their needs more clearly.

Depending on enabled options, an enquiry can collect:

  • the prospect's name;
  • email address or phone number;
  • project type;
  • project location;
  • detailed project description;
  • desired timing;
  • indicative budget;
  • preferred contact method: email, phone or WhatsApp;
  • up to 5 project photos.

Consent to use the submitted information to answer the quote enquiry is required. Photos attached to an enquiry are stored privately and are not published on the public showcase.

Manage quote enquiries in your workspace

Received enquiries are available inside the showcase editor. Their progress can be managed using commercial workflow states: new, contacted, site visit planned, quote sent, won, lost or archived.

An internal manager note can be added for follow-up. Photos submitted by prospects remain available from this authorised management area without being exposed on the public showcase.

Measure useful interactions after a scan

Dedicated indicators can track QR scans, showcase views, project and before/after interactions, contact actions, sharing and quote enquiries.

The dashboard can also show the number of leads, the scan → quote conversion rate and the most viewed projects. Depending on the analytics level available with the account plan, these figures help identify the media and projects generating the most interest.

Use the same QR on vehicles, boards and documents

The benefit of a dynamic QR is particularly practical for trades businesses. Vehicle graphics or site boards may remain in use for years. If your phone number changes, you add new projects or your services evolve, you should not need to replace the QR.

Update the Trades & Construction Pro showcase in GreenQRCode and existing copies of the same QR continue to open the current version.

Customise the showcase to match your business

Advanced customisation provides three starting palettes: Ochre & Slate, Construction Blue & Signal Yellow and Safety Green & Concrete.

You can then adjust background, card, text, accent and button colours, choose a system font or one of the available Google Fonts, and select different header, card, button and content-width styles.

Main sections can also be enabled or disabled: logo, cover, introduction, services, projects, qualifications, reviews, availability, contact, quote form, service area, experience, budget, timing, enquiry photos and sharing.

Good practices for an effective trades showcase

  1. Show genuine work. Before / after photos should be your own projects or images you are authorised to publish.
  2. Keep contact details current. A QR on a vehicle may continue to be scanned long after it was applied.
  3. Select your strongest projects. A focused portfolio is more convincing than an unreadable collection.
  4. Describe accepted project types clearly. This improves the quality of quote enquiries.
  5. Follow up on enquiries. A useful form should lead to a real commercial response.
  6. Test the QR on the real medium. Scan it on the vehicle, board, card or document before large-scale distribution.

Turn a simple scan into proof of expertise

The Trades & Construction Pro showcase is more than a contact page. It combines business presentation, services, visual proof, credentials, reviews, availability, contact actions and quote enquiries in one mobile showcase.

The medium carrying the QR can stay the same while your business evolves. You can keep enriching the showcase as new projects are completed without losing the QR codes already printed on vehicles, boards and documents.
